Simon Hall Work information
I have placed all my old past down below, I currently own a company called KRS Media based in Sheffield.
This Company was originally KRS Consultancy but changed as I moved more into
media based areas of business. The media company is thriving with new challenges
each day. The new product video demos go live this week, the beginning of May
and this will bring in some great projects,we also have web commercials the first few of these will be shot at excellent rates so more demos can be
shown. This is definitely the way of the web. I also have a couple of TV Series
in discussion which I can't talk about yet but will do eventually. One is reality
TV and the other one is a documentary. I would like to say they will happen but
having been here so many times before who knows.
Some things Simon has done in his life: some great moments and some not so great.
You won't be getting war and peace but in the army which Simon went straight
from school, he learnt to be a Telecommunications Mechanic, which he didn't carry
on with when leaving. Whilst in the army Simon loved playing Water Polo and swimming
for the army until an accident saw his knee injury put an end to his dreams.
We will now move forward several years, when in 1996 Simon started work for Oneview.net
this was his first step into IT. Simon hasn't looked back. Learning the quality
of web design how it works and what is good and bad. He met two people who in
particular carved out Simon's future the first was the MD Steve Kirk, he changed
Simon's pproach to work and sales, making him work harder and better, helping
achieve targets individually and as a team as Simon became an area manager. The
second person at the company was Robin Sullivan who now runs a great Spend Management
company called Fraxion. Robin and Simon had worked together years and made money
where ever they went. Learning how to manage people and make great decisions the
two people became good friends.
Simon also spent 5 years working with Andrew Dymond of Lightworx the creators
of Star Hyke a new TV Series. The day Andrew Dymond came up with the idea of Star
Hyke Simon knew it was a winner. It did not take long before channels were interested
and the project moved forward. Simon secured the channel, which in turn secured
the funding. Simon also introduced Jonathan Brown the producer. This was the final
piece of the jigsaw. To make this project a success. Simon sadly walked away in
July 2004 to pursue other projects. It was a great time that needed to come to
an end. Simon enjoyed the achievement that Andrew always wanted his TV Series
or film, and when he left he had wrote the busines plan that raised the finances
to go forward and met with financers for the series and also found the TV Channel
to make all this happen.
